A refined, architectural family bathroom designed with a boutique hotel feel, balancing warmth, texture and functionality in a calm contemporary setting.

The entire space was carefully curated to feel immersive and minimal, with concealed storage, seamless detailing and layered mood lighting creating a luxurious everyday experience.

The design centres around a bespoke double vanity crafted from striking natural stone, featuring integrated sinks carved directly into the slab for a completely seamless appearance. The dramatic veining and tonal movement within the stone adds depth and individuality, while brushed brass brassware introduces warmth and elegance throughout the room.

Floating timber cabinetry beneath softens the overall palette and brings a rich organic contrast against the stone surfaces.

Above the vanity, oversized double mirrored panels with integrated LED backlighting create both atmosphere and practicality. The mirrors visually expand the space while providing soft ambient illumination, enhancing the warm textures of the timber and natural stone finishes.

The vertical lighting detail also adds a sculptural architectural element to the room.

The walk-in shower was designed as a fully open, frameless glass enclosure to maintain clean sightlines and uninterrupted flow across the space. Large-format statement stone wraps continuously across the shower walls and floor, creating a dramatic spa-like feature with natural variation and texture. A recessed lowered ceiling above the shower introduces intimate mood lighting through discreet linear LEDs, creating a calming wellness-inspired atmosphere during evening use.

A freestanding bath was positioned as the focal point of the room, framed by illuminated decorative 3D wall panelling and textured stone finishes. The soft curves of the bath contrast beautifully against the sharp architectural lines and structured wall detailing, helping to create balance within the design. Floor-mounted brushed brass bath fillers further elevate the luxurious aesthetic while maintaining the clean minimal language used throughout the project.

Decorative vertical 3D wall panels were incorporated to add rhythm, texture and subtle shadow play, enhancing the sense of depth within the room without overpowering the overall calm palette. Integrated linear ceiling lighting was kept minimal and precise, reinforcing the contemporary architectural feel while ensuring the space remains warm rather than clinical.

Hidden storage solutions and concealed joinery maintain the uncluttered appearance essential to the design. Wall-hung sanitaryware, flush detailing and invisible access panels allow the materials and lighting to remain the focus, resulting in a sophisticated yet highly functional family bathroom tailored for modern living.
